DeTravius is an experienced professional with exceptional expertise in corporate transactional law matters. He has particular expertise in corporate formation and commercial transactions, including IP-related matters. He has a proven record of guiding companies and entrepreneurs to seven-figure revenues. Also, his mastery of complex legal frameworks, such as trademark registration and business structuring is unparalleled.
Additionally, DeTravius has experience supporting emerging markets such as cannabis regulations. In addition to his transactional law focus, DeTravius supports the litigation team regarding corporate litigation matters, including those related to employment law.
Prior to joining Davis Legal Group, DeTravius served as an Interim Community ReEntry Lawyer with the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia. During his time there, he played a critical role in leading parole hearings, drafting essential legal motions, and advancing significant initiatives such as "ban the box" and automatic expungement. His advocacy for the rights of incarcerated individuals throughout federal institutions earned him the prestigious "Champion of Liberty Award for Outstanding Advocacy."
